The ancient city of Multan, long revered for its Sufi shrines and bustling bazaars, is witnessing a quiet revolution in its hospitality landscape. In a move signaling a broader shift across Pakistan, BWH Hotels has unveiled the new Best Western Plus Grand Hotel Multan—the first of its brand in the country and a strategic bet on the nation’s growing travel sector.

Surprisingly, Pakistan is seeing a surge in demand for quality, internationally-branded hotel accommodation, a gap this global group has the foresight to fill. The property’s opening on Azmat Wasti Road strategically places guests between the historic city center and the commercial Cantonment district, offering easy access to landmarks like Fort Kohna Qasim Garden and Hussain Agahi Market.
The 50-room hotel delivers the upgraded comfort of the Best Western Plus brand, featuring a rooftop pool, a fitness center, and versatile event spaces. Guests can fuel their explorations with local and international cuisine at the in-house restaurant.
This marks BWH’s seventh property in Pakistan, highlighting a rapid expansion. “Multan is a major cultural and commercial hub attracting more travelers seeking international standards,” said Olivier Berrivin, Vice President for APAC at BWH Hotels. The opening suggests that for the savvy traveler, Pakistan’s frontiers of comfort are expanding as quickly as its horizons.
