Hosted at Cinematheque·Passion on Travessa da Paixão, this free exhibition spotlights the art of production design through three celebrated Macao films: Our Seventeen, Kissing the Ground You Walked On, and I Want to Be a Plastic Chair. Visitors get rare access to exclusive interviews, original design sketches, handwritten production notes, and authentic props and costumes from each film.
The exhibition introduces five talented Macao production designers: Chantelle Cheang, Paula Lo Pou I, Celeste Chau da Luz, Monyca Wong, and Nancy Io. Their work reveals how Macao’s distinctive Portuguese-Chinese heritage shapes every visual detail on screen, from colour palettes to set architecture.
